  • Hands-on working knowledge of Windows 7 or higher operating system is required. Knowledge of security protocols, data formats and integrating message-oriented middleware will help. Familiarity with IBM Integration Bus components will be helpful, though not essential.

Objectives

After completing this course, you should be able to

  • manage and maintain an integration node
  • manage topics and subscriptions in publish/subscribe networks
  • identify and resolve deployment, development and runtime errors
  • administer IBM Integration Bus applications and components by using the command console or by using the web user interface
  • configure connections to IBM MQ for IBM Integration Bus to get receive messages from and transmit messages to local or remote message queues
  • specify workload management policies, adjust the speed at which IBM Integration Bus processes messages and define actions to be taken if preconfigured maximum message processing time is exceeded
  • establish client-server connectivity between an integration node and a database using Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) or Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) application programming interface (API)
